There’s been a Webull sign-up bonus for several years now, although the terms change from time to time. Here’s the breakdown.

The way the bonus is determined is a bit complex.
You’ll get at least 12 fractional stocks, with a chance at up to 24. The value of the given stocks is between $3-$3000 and depends on a drawing with set odds (see my notes for the odds).
Basically, as far as I can understand it, you’ll get at least $36 in stocks with a small chance for much more.
Requirements
The requirements are easy-just make an account and then make a deposit into the account of any amount. Yep, even $1 will do.
Exclusions
You must be a new customer to Webull.
Fees
Webull doesn’t charge trading fees, unlike some other brokerage accounts. They also don’t charge any monthly fees.
Deadlines
The current promo ends on 5/30/23.
Benefits
Webull does frequent promotions for referring people, so if you have a few other people you know who might be interested you can make more from the bonuses.

Here’s the breakdown of the odds for the stock values
- $3-10 value, 1 in 1.02
- $11-100, 1 in 50.76
- $101-999, 1 in 5,000
- $1000-3000, 1 in 10,000
The odds of receiving a certain number of shares are:
- 12 shares, 1 in 1.008
- 20 shares, 1 in 126.58
- 24 shares, 1 in 10,000
My experience signing up for Webull
The sign-up form asks the usual questions about personal info and financial info. For me it took a few hours to be approved after I submitted the form.
Once your account is live you can check the current value of your holdings (stock or cash) by going to the main button, the one with the Webull logo on it. The first time you do this it’ll have you create a security pin.
To see your bonuses and current available promos, go to the menu tab. The button called My Rewards in the menu will list your stock rewards. When you become eligible for your sign-up bonus you can claim the stock rewards here. That’ll do the drawing and determine which stocks you get. It takes a few days for the rewards to credit, and before that they’ll show as “in transit”.

The requirements for this bonus are very easy (any amount deposited!). The app itself is very easy to use and the lack of fees make it an appealing choice to try investing with.
While you’ll probably get small values for your stock rewards, there’s always the slight chance of something much more valuable..
