The most reliable way I get free boxes of samples through the mail is from the Sampler website.

How Does Sampler Work?
It’s easy to join and participate. You just need to make an account on the website and fill out an introductory survey. The survey asks things about your demographic info and your shopping patterns. Make sure to answer the questions accurately because if you have to change them the company will freeze any sample deliveries for months.
When you’ve filled out the main survey once you won’t have to do it again unless your situation majorly changes.
Every so often Sampler will send you an email saying they have new samples. Just log in through the link. They may ask you a few more questions, but it’s never very many. Sometimes there are also special promos from specific companies. They may email you, or it might be listed on freebie sites.
Once you’ve gotten your samples and tried them they’ll ask you to review them in a survey.
The surveys ask how much you liked the product, how likely you are to buy it, and to share a few sentences about your experience.

The surveys are easy and quick, unlike some of their competitors. I’ve gotten useful samples that I’ve enjoyed trying (the box I just received had a full-size pasta box among other things), and there are often coupons included to get a discount on buying the item.
