The Chime promo on Swagbucks has been around a long time, and was previously higher. It’ll probably stick around in some form, but whether it will go up or down is anybody’s guess.

Swagbucks terms for the Chime checking promo

An example of the terms-details might not be acccurate

Chime checking promo – conclusion

Chime is one of the most well known “internet banks” and their checking account has no regular fees, making this a great choice for a secondary account or a place to put ready money.

Because they don’t have a physical presence I’d still maintain a more traditional account too, but that’s just me.

For people interested in building credit, Chime has a secured card that is available to those with the checking account and a direct deposit. The specific terms are listed on the Chime site.

They also have a savings account with 2.00% APY, which beats the average rate, though there are higher rates readily available. Probably the main benefit there is the ease of use when combined with the checking account.

The Chime checking bonus is solid and the requirements aren’t too tricky.

The promo has been higher in the past and will probably continue to be offered in some form, so it may rise again.
