Thoughts About The Capital One Checking Bonus
(2/24/24: The current bonus of $250 isn’t quite as good as the previous offer of $350 from last year, but it’s not bad either.)
First off, the Capital One checking bonus is very good. The reward combined with the ease of the requirements makes this one of the top bank bonus offers that I know of.
But there are some nice things to appreciate with this account beyond the sign-up bonus.
The lack of fees removes a frequent frustration when it comes to checking accounts, and I like that it earns interest. Granted, the interest rate isn’t too high, but it’s better than the zero that many checking accounts offer.
It also has convenience perks like mobile deposits and an easy to use app.
Added to those things, it’s very nice to use if you also have a Capital One credit card. In that case both your checking and credit card accounts will be easily accessible from the same portal.
