The Axos sign-up bonus is really two separate, stackable bonuses, for a total of $250. But only doing is perfectly fine too.
One bonus is from Swagbucks and the other is from Axos itself. Read on for the details!

Bonus
- $150 from Swagbucks, rewarded as SB
- $100 from Axos bank
Requirements
- For Swagbucks, create an account at Axos bank and deposit $750. Claw-back alert: the account must remain open for 6 months.
- For Axos, use the promo code RC100 when you make an account. Then you must have $1500 in direct deposits each month for the first three months that the account is open. Claw-back alert: the account must remain open for 6 months.
Exclusions
- For Swagbucks, you must be new to Axos bank
- For Axos, you must not already have a rewards checking account with Axos
Fees
There are no monthly fees.
Deadlines
- Swagbucks doesn’t tend to list deadlines for offers
- For the Axos part, the deadline to apply is 6/30/23.
Benefits
- The rewards checking account earns interest, up to 3.30% APY. The way the interest is calculated is unique: meeting various qualifications will raise your interest rate. For example, having $2500 daily average balance in one of their trading accounts will increase the interest by 1.00%. If you’re intrigued check out the table on this page.
- Unlimited domestic ATM fee reimbursements
- The bank seems well-liked and highly rated in general
Notes
Axos has a couple of different checking accounts. The Axos bonus is available for the rewards checking account. I’m not sure if the Swagbucks link will auto-select that or give you a choice, but if it’s the latter pick rewards checking for the second bonus.
The Axos Sign-Up Bonus in conclusion
Here’s the current terms from Swagbucks if you want to see them.
The deal is particularly good if you can meet the direct deposit requirement to get the second bonus, but $150 for a deposit is still a good deal.
Axos bank in general is highly ranked for quality. It’s an internet bank and focuses on digital management through the site or app. Rewards checking accounts aren’t that numerous, so if you meet the qualifications to raise the APY it could be a very good idea to keep your money there.
