The cash back at supermarkets won’t take effect at some retailers like Sam’s Club that aren’t primarily grocery oriented.

Should You Take Advantage Of The American Express Blue Cash Everyday Promo?

If you’re looking for an all-around good cash back card without an annual fee, the Blue Cash Everyday is a good choice.

The rewards structure is pretty simple: you don’t have to deal with changing categories or point redemptions. Unlike some of its siblings, this card doesn’t earn American Express Membership Rewards Points. It gets cash rewards that can be added to your statement credit.

The 3% categories are good too. Groceries, gas, and online shopping together make up a good part of many people’s expenses. There’s a reason why this card is consistently listed as a strong grocery or general cash back card.

Because of the foreign transaction fee and the geographic restrictions on the cash back this isn’t a good travel card. It’s more of a staycation card.smile

The Blue Cash Everyday promo is good for a no fee card. The spending requirements are fairly easy to meet.

If you don’t yet have a good cash back card it’s worth considering.

It’s also possible you might prefer the Blue Cash Preferred if you spend a lot on groceries. That card offers a boosted rate of cash back but comes with an annual fee.
